Former AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has accused President Bola Tinubu of purchasing a presidential jet, bulletproof vehicle, and other luxuries during his first year in office while neglecting the suffering of Nigerians. In a series of posts on his X page, Sowore criticized Nigerian leaders for prioritizing personal gains over citizens' well-being.
These allegations come amid a legal dispute between Nigeria and a Chinese company over the seizure of Nigerian government jets, as well as ongoing protests against economic hardship in the country under the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria movement.
