Shaibu Reveals: Oshiomhole Spent Three Months Convincing Me to Back Obaseki for Governor

Embattled Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu has revealed that it took Senator Adams Oshiomhole three months to persuade him to support Governor Godwin Obaseki’s gubernatorial bid. Shaibu noted that Obaseki, who lacked political experience and financial backing, was initially a hard sell for him and his supporters.

Despite their current rift, Shaibu emphasized that he and his allies were instrumental in making Obaseki governor, contributing their resources and political influence to his campaign. This revelation comes after Shaibu's reinstatement by the FCT High Court following his impeachment by the Edo State House of Assembly.
