Salah Sets New Premier League Record

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah etched his name into Premier League history on Saturday, surpassing the likes of Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, and Alan Shearer with a remarkable feat.

The Egyptian winger was instrumental in Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town, contributing both a goal and an assist. His strike marked his ninth goal in a Premier League opening day, a record-breaking tally that places him ahead of the aforementioned legends who previously shared the top spot with eight goals each.

Salah has been a consistent force on Liverpool's opening day matches, scoring in seven out of his eight seasons at Anfield. His only miss came in last season's opener against Chelsea.

This latest achievement further solidifies Salah's status as one of the Premier League's most lethal attackers.
