President Tinubu Appoints Engineer Jennifer Adighije as NDPHC MD/CEO to Strengthen Power Projects

 


President Bola Tinubu has appointed Engineer Jennifer Adighije as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC). This strategic move aims to bolster the National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP) and enhance Nigeria's power sector performance.

Alongside Adighije, the presidency has also appointed a new management team to support the company's operations. The newly appointed executive directors are:

  • Engineer Abdullahi Kassim (Generation)
  • Bello Babayo Bello (Networks)
  • Emmanuel Umeoji (Corporate Services)
  • Omololu Agoro (Finance & Accounts)
  • Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama (Strategy and Commercial)
  • Barrister Steven Andzenge (Legal Services)

Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale highlighted that Ms. Adighije brings a wealth of experience from both the private and public sectors. She holds a Master's degree in Wireless Networks and Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Ngelale stated that President Tinubu expects the new management team to leverage their expertise and experience to effectively manage the NIPP and drive significant improvements in Nigeria's power infrastructure.
