Literally translating to "king's forecourt" in Yoruba, the Ojude Oba explodes with color, music, and artistic expression. On the third day of Eid al Kabir, various cultural age groups known as "regberegbe" take center stage.
These groups, comprised of both men and women, transform into a sea of vibrant colors. Traditional fabrics like sanyan, alaari, etu, and adire mingle with more modern brocades and laces, creating a dazzling display of sartorial splendor.
