The PDP criticizes Tinubu, attributing increased hardship and insecurity in Nigeria to his policies.

 

The Peoples Democratic Party's National Executive Committee (NEC) holds President Bola Tinubu responsible for the deteriorating insecurity, economic challenges, high food prices, and unemployment rates.

During its 98th NEC meeting at the National Secretariat in Abuja, the party expressed alarm over the surge in terrorism, violence, and senseless killings under Tinubu's leadership.

A communique issued after the meeting stated: "NEC is deeply troubled by the poorly executed policies of the APC government, which have exacerbated insecurity, economic distress, rising unemployment, and the exorbitant cost of essential commodities, causing widespread suffering and despair across the nation.

"NEC is gravely concerned about the alarming incidents of terrorism, violence, including the surge in senseless killings, mass abductions, and attacks on communities in various parts of the country.

"NEC strongly condemns the indifference, incompetence, and arrogance displayed by the APC administration, which continues to demonstrate a lack of concern or dedication to the welfare of Nigerians."
